Sentosa island in Singapore is the popular destination among the locals or outside Singapore.
The original name of the island was Pulau Belakang Mati ( usually the spelled Blakang Mati) which means the ‘death island’ .
The present day name, Sentosa means peace and tranquility in which you can see from the many people who flock there especially during the weekends.

To reach the Sentosa Island, you can go by the cable car and it takes around 10 minutes for the journey.
